Kirkwood Bus Driver Bert on Carson Pass
Today we took the Kirkwood shuttle bus up to the resort. The bus driver (his name was Bert), shared much of his It was great! He told us about the local history which certainly sounded colorful. Stories ranged from the influx of miners during the California gold rush to Mark Twain who spent a lot of time in the Tahoe area. If you get the chance, ride the Kirkwood bus and with a little luck Bert will be your shuttle driver so you can catch Bert's tour, he's the only driver that does it and I think you'll love it!
