Took my first trip to New River Gorge in 2004. It was beautiful, although the skies were crystal clear and blue. No fog, low rain clouds, etc. My next trip to WV I hope to make a raft trip down the river.

BTW...my trip to New River Gorge involved taking a seven month old (and stroller). It wasn't difficult to manuever along the wooden areas and the little one loved it. Drove back to South Carolina after that wonderful trip in the middle of Hurricane Frances. Now, that wasn't exactly a good time. Can't wait to get back to WV.
